Immerse yourself in the journey of celebrating the key milestones of UNICEF’s 70 years in India, with our exquisite app. With one quick scan, you enter the fascinating world of UNICEF. We designed an illustration based interactive table-top calendar embedded with a QR code for the organisation. When you scan the image on the calendar with a phone, it takes you forward to an app we developed in-house with our technology partner, SPLAT studio. This takes you to an illustrated landscape, which is the world of UNICEF in India with many stories of intervention and achievement through partnerships with National and State Governments of India, big corporations, partner organisations, volunteers, experts and people at large.
Every two months we introduce new topics and related anecdotes that speak about the different areas that UNICEF works around, like Nutrition, Immunization, Education, Maternal and Neonatal Health, Child Protection and WASH. These sectors in which UNICEF works are brought alive through personalized stories told by an active member of that intervention. For instance, Zoya’s Anaemia story is dictated by Zoya, a 14-year old girl who is now living a healthy life because of the support provided for her nutrition. Pop-up signs appear on your touch-screen and nudge you through the story. Through this amazing interactive program, the user can delve into many details of UNICEF’s work in India and gain a deeper understanding of UNICEF’s ground realities. Over the year, the audience builds familiarity with the experience, enjoying the experience of the UNICEF story at the tap of their fingers.
