“Character is destiny”, said Greek philosopher, Seneca and primarily, creating a brand is about forming a strong character. We evolved the branding of TI Cycles’ new bicycle Montra to ‘fly like an eagle.’

A bike with a cult following
For the launch of the new bicycle Montra in the market, TI Cycles envisaged a strong, distinctive logo that would garner a cult following. Aimed at young people who aspire for social visibility, the Montra was designed to combine exercise with fun. With a carbon-fibre frame, the bike stands for mobility and flight spurring the rider to blaze his own path.

A logo with a past
Our challenge was to create a logo that was distinctive, without any similarity to other symbols in the market, as the project had previously run into legal issues. The project was of short span and we completed it in a record six weeks.

The right fit

Our operative words were power, lightness and flight. The Eagle captures all these qualities and came up as the definitive image.
The identity for Montra consisted of a logo and a logotype. The superfluous merge of graphics with the product features created a bike with superlative appeal.
