A platform for advocacy
With over 650 member organizations, Partner for Maternal, Newborn and Child Health (PMNCH) aims at providing a healthy environment for women, newborn, children and adolescents where they will continue to thrive. Partners’ Forum 2013 in Johannesburg, South Africa brought together more than 800 global health professionals, policy makers, business leaders, advocates and youth leaders. It presented a unique opportunity to accelerate the Millennium Development Goals of the United Nations with a vision for 2030.

Acting for ‘Mother and child’
Our approach was to create an action-oriented identity with the intent to motivate all partners. We incorporated the regional flavor of South Africa, drawing from the convention’s locale. The branding’s central visual of “mother and child” extrapolates from the pursuit of MDG 4 and 5 – reducing child mortality and improving maternal health. The happy mother and child image celebrated the vision of the future propelling the program ahead with life and energy.
